Dr. Magdy El-Sharkawy
Magdy ElSharkawy, I graduated from faculty of medicine Ain-Shams University on 1988, got my master on 1992, and my PhD, and Doctorate qt 1998. I am now a Professor of Int. Med. & Nephrology and Director of renal transplantation program at the Faculty of Medicine Ain-Shams University, Egypt. I am also the Director of the Dialysis Unit, and a Consultant of Nephrology and Renal Transplantation at Nasser Institute Hospital, Cairo. Dr El-Sharkawy supervises training courses on renal medicine for both physicians and nurses and has authored several papers that have been published in renowned international journals. He has extensive clinical experience in dialysis, clinical nephrology, diabetes, diabetic nephropathy and, renal transplantation. Dr ElSharkawy is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of the ESNT and is Head of the Organizing Committee of the Egyptian Annual Dialysis Conference. I am a board member of the ESNT. I am also a working member of many societies, including the ERA-EDTA, ISN, ASN, ESOT, ECE, ADA, and the Egyptian NKF.
